The KSPU Admission Committee reminds that a specially organized session of the EFI (ЄВІ, укр.) will take place on September 11, 2021.

     Information about the testing place is indicated in the Cabinet of the EFI participant.

     On the 8^th of April 2021 the II round of all-Ukrainian creative contest for students “Healthy child – healthy nation” was held on the basis of Hlukhiv Pedagogical University named after O. Dovzhenko. Third-year students of the Department of Pre-school Education of KSPU, group DVP(X)-18, Svitlana Afanasova and Aida Matinian participated in the contest.

     In videoconference mode on Zoom platform, they presented one of the best works entitled “Prevention of bad habits and gadget addiction among pre-school children and overcoming them” under scientific supervision of Associate Professor N.H. Nedodatko and became the winners of the II round of all-Ukrainian creative contest for students “Healthy child – healthy nation”.

     We congratulate the winners and wish them new scientific achievements!

     To the anniversary of Lesia Ukrainka on the 25^th of February students and teachers of the Faculty of Ukrainian Philology prepared a presentation introducing significant features of poetess’ biography and outlook and revealing modern cultural vectoros of  author’s creative achievements. The Department of the Ukrainian Language of KSPU joined international online-flashmob #GlobalLesiaUkrainka2021 devoted to 150^th anniversary of the poetess. Lesia Ukrainka’s literary works were recited by teachers, students of the Faculty of Ukrainian Philology, pupils of the schools we cooperate with.

     To 150^th anniversary of Lesia Ukrainka the Faculty of Ukrainian Philology held a contest of cinquains – peculiar mini-poems exploring a certain topic. The best creative works were posted on KSPU website.

     In 2020-2021 academic year a scientific society called “Comparative Studies” started functioning under the direction of Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor V.I. Dmytrenko. The society united 2-4-year students interested in the subject. The main objective of the society is reconstruction of comparative line in the analysis of literary works of Ukrainian and World Literature, which enables comparison of works of fiction, their basic components (themes, motives, characters, etc.), phenomena and facts belonging to different literatures, establishing links between Ukrainian and World Literature. One of the directions of the scientific society work is also analysis of literary phenomena in an intermedial aspect, that is highlighting connections of literary works with other art forms.

     The meeting of the society on the 2^nd of March was devoted to 150^th anniversary of Lesia Ukrainka’s birthday. The topic under discussion was “Lesia Ukrainka’s creative work in the context of World Literature” as well as intermediality of her poetry.

     On the 6^th of April an online event called “The Night of a French Song” was held at the Faculty of Foreign languages. It was organized within the framework of the festival “French Spring” held annually in Ukraine in April.

     Teachers of the Department of Translation and Slavic Philology T.V. Mykhalchenko and N.O. Zakharova together with first-year students of the group ANP-20 Daria Roiko and Liliia Dashevska took part in the preparation of the event. Organizers of the evening prepared online-quiz with questions about famous classic performers of the French variety (Edith Piaf, Charles Aznavour, Mireille Mathieu, Joe Dassin, Serge Gainsbourg) as well as about modern performers (Lara Fabian, Zaz, Christophe Maé, Kendji Girac). Moreover, the participants learned interesting facts from lives of the singers and listened to extracts from their best songs. In the end, the organizers offered musical medley consisting of popular French songs starting from the 60s of the XX century and up to the present. Time passed quickly and both spectators and organizers really enjoyed the event.

     The Department of Applied and Decorative Arts and Design of Kryvyi Rih State Pedagogical University is launching a new season  of annual and already fourth regional internet competition of children’s design projects“ART LOOK-2021” and invites children’s creative groups, pupils of secondary schools, art schools, studios and lyceums to participate. The topic of this year’s competition is a slogan interesting and popular among pupils and students: “THE WORLD CREATED BY A DESIGNER”. According to competition nominations your students will be able to create their own designer self-portrait, construct fantasy premise where a real designer lives, their house and design imaginary playground for children. We are grateful to our permanent participants and hope for further productive cooperation.

     On the 16^th of April fourth-year students of the specialty 014.06 Secondary Education (Chemistry) visited metallurgical enterprise Public Joint-Stock Company “ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih”, which is a steel plant unique in its size and structure within transnational corporation “ArcelorMittal”. The excursion was organized according to the plan of student technological practice. The students had an opportunity to see with their own eyes steel production processes they had studied theoretically in the training course “Chemical technology”. Excursion program included visiting ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih museum and section-rolling shop-1. Students and teachers are grateful to the stuff of the enterprise for hospitability and patience (sometimes they were overwhelmed with questions and emotions), to administration for support and organization of favourable conditions. They also hope for continued cooperation in the future.

     On the 15^th of April 2021 VII historical and regional study readings “Kryvorizhzhia: looking back into the past…” were held via Zoom. This local history forum has become a traditional (annual) platform for communication of investigators of our native city history and everybody interested in this topic. In the introductory statement Vice-rector in scientific work, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor V.A. Hamaniuk highlighted growing currentness of such event on the basis of Kryvyi Rih Pedagogical University, which is proved by constantly increasing number of participants.

     A specific feature of this year’s historical and regional study readings “Kryvorizhzhia: looking back into the past…” is the fact that they are conducted in merged on-line and off-line formats”, - pointed out a co-organizer of the event, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor N.A. Pechenina in her opening statement at the beginning of the second part of regional study readings. It was held in face-to-face format initiated by members of a public organization “A candle of memory”, whose activity is aimed at restoration of historical justice regarding “black jacket soldiers” (black infantry) who were killed in city liberation battles in western suburbs of Kryvyi Rih within October 1943-March 1944.

     On the 1^st of April the Department of Tourism and Economy of Kryvyi Rih State Pedagogical University acted as a co-orginizer and active participant of VII International Scientific and Practical Conference “Theoretical and applied trends of tourism and recreation in the regions of Ukraine” held on the basis of  Flying Academy of NAU in the city of Kropyvnytskyi. A number of articles were prepared on the part of the Department of Tourism and Economy by Volodymyr Kazakov and  Viktoriia Patsiuk in collaboration with the fourth year students of the specialty “Tourism” Andriy Huda, Oleksandr Matishchuk and Dariia Shyian. The conference was included into action plan for professional advancement of Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.

     Within implemetation of the whole-department topic “Ecological conditionality of structural and functional organization of natural and anthropologically transformed biogeocenoses” and activities of  scientific research laboratory “Ecology of Kryvbus vegetation”, teachers of the department continue to develop a cost accounting topic “Postproject monitoring of influence of planned operations on mining limestones and clay usable as concrete raw materials, of Zhovtokamiansk deposit (section №3) situated in Apostolovo district of Dnipropetrovsk region, on condition of flora and fauna” (agreement №39122 of 28^th October 2019, supervisor – Candidate of Biological Sciences, Assosiate Professor E.O.Yevtushenko).

     In 2021 preparation for publishing of the next sixth issue of the collection of scientific and scientific methodological works “Environmental Journal of Kryvorizhzhia” is going on (chief editor - Candidate of Biological Sciences, Assosiate Professor V.M. Savosko, members of editorial board: Candidate of Biological Sciences I.O. Komarova, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences  N.V.Gnilusha, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences O.O. Kobriushko, Candidate of Biological Sciences Ya.V. Malenko).
